Amanda & Sergio’s wedding was unmistakably Boston in the best way. Their story began on the first day of law school at Boston University and over the years the city became an integral part of their relationship. Early dates in the North End turned into anniversaries and celebrations at The Newbury Boston, and now they are beginning this next chapter together in the South End.

Our story with them began at The Newbury as well. We first met Amanda and Sergio while they were touring the property and we were onsite producing another wedding. It was one of those chance meetings that quickly turned into something more meaningful, and from the beginning it was clear they cared deeply about creating a wedding that felt thoughtful, welcoming, and true to who they are.

The design naturally grew from the setting itself. With the Public Garden just outside the windows, we leaned into the feeling of a Boston summer in bloom. Soft color, layered textures, sculptural alliums, and subtle swan details gave the room a romantic quality that still felt polished and refined. The design captured the charm and character of the garden while bringing warmth and intimacy into the ballroom.

At every turn, the celebration reflected Amanda & Sergio’s story and the city that has shaped it. The evening carried a sense of warmth and romance that felt true to them from beginning to end, layered with details that honored both their relationship and the place where it all began.
